is about us, who we are, what we do. we have statistics for our team
as well as member's profiles. everyone is welcome to join but
please contact us before. we want to keep the team small and active.
that's the primary goal of the team so if you're not serious about
the seti project, don't join. but if you are, you're welcome.

works fine, as expected.

due to low demand we've switched back to our old message board
system. old posts have been saved and restored. enjoy.

we wish everyone a very merry christmas & and a wonderful
holiday season. we've recognized that there are many people who
come to our site via google searching for "agaetis byrjun", but
who are actually looking for the song or same titled album by
sigur rós. however, we've added a link to the top of the
homepage that links directly to the details for the album "ágætis byrjun"
on the official sigur rós website. in that way the people who
came here, looking for sigur rós, will at least find a link to
the content they actually were looking for.
09/26/2005 -
after almost exactly two months after launching the team we've
reached the 10k milestone. thanks to cuthbert for returning the
credit that completed the 10k's.

we've updated the site today, adding a few new pictures to
founders area, members area and the orgin site. hope you enjoy
them.

the data server is back up and things are running normal. we are
about to reach the 10k milestone by the end of this month.
09/11/2005 -
berkeley has been experiencing trouble with the data server,
sending units to the clients. for the past few days it was
almost impossible to get anything. in a statement on the website
they said the problems would be fixed by 11am PST, yesterday.
since about 6am PST, this morning, the server has been
back up sending out units. we've experienced time-outs though.
the server should be back up running by 7pm PST, today.

reworked the site today and changed navigation style.

after 2 months of existance we hit the 5,000 credit mark.

in collaboration with jing wee from setiatwork.com we're now
able to provide more detailed team stats. check out our
statistics page for more. thanks to jing and the crew!

not even two weeks after launching ágætis byrjun we hit the 1,000
credit mark. we also just reached an average credit of 100
points, and adding one more milestone we're happy to announce
that our website has had 100 visitors since the launch on june,
21st. seems like this is a pretty good beginning...

we've added links to the members page, updated the origin page
with a pronunciation guide and updated our team description on
the seti at home site and reduced it to "við munum gera betur

the site launched @ 1:50am cet
07/20/2005 - after
more than one year of abstinence from the seti at home project, jay
and cuthbert decided to re-join the project with their new team,
ágætis byrjun.
